Added

  • Voice calls over Twilio or Telnyx with barge-in (pipecat 1.11.0), the three call rings and the AI disclosure, own-number verification, profile and spoken briefing, research, rituals, Gmail triage, Google Calendar and MCP, PC actions with undo, SMS / WhatsApp / Telegram / e-mail to the owner, and the local console with a setup wizard.
  • SaaS mode (python -m voice saas, saas migrate, saas create-operator): public site with sign-up, a console per customer at /app/, operator panel at /op/, accounts with scrypt, sessions and CSRF, operator TOTP, plans and quotas, usage ledger, credit packs, Stripe Checkout, Customer Portal and a signed idempotent webhook, analytics from recorded rows only, branding, customer web OAuth for Gmail and Calendar, a multi-tenant worker and media server, and call minutes billed from Twilio's status callback.
  • Also: Telnyx for calls, texts and PIN call-in; local speech with your own Piper and whisper.cpp servers (local-check) and a wake-word hook (wakeword-test); agent tasks (planner plus read-only helpers with hard cost limits); Telegram and e-mail channels, also for SaaS customers through the operator's bot and SMTP; a public read-only demo mode (VOX_PUBLIC_DEMO=1).

02How to update

  1. Back upapp/data/ (Docker: the vox-data volume). It holds the database, every customer and secrets.env; protect the backup like the keys.
  2. Replace the codeUnpack the new release; keep app/data/, deploy/vox.env and your proxy configuration.
  3. Install dependencies
    pip install -r voice/requirements.txt   # or deploy/install.sh; Docker: docker compose up -d --build
  4. Migrate (SaaS)
    python -m voice saas migrate
    Migrations are Python modules in app/voice/saas/migrations/, applied in name order and recorded in the database; each runs once.
  5. Restart and checkRestart the service, then python -m voice check.

pipecat-ai is pinned. Adopt a new pipecat version only after testing barge-in and the disclosure on a live line. If you changed code, keep your changes in git so a new version is a merge, not a rewrite.
