Support
how we help.

Where to ask, what item support covers, updates, refunds and your licence.

01How to get help

Support is given by the people who built it, through the channel you bought the licence from:

  1. Search these docs firstPress / and type the error or the screen name. Most setup questions are answered in Troubleshooting.
  2. Run the checkpython -m voice check names what is missing.
  3. Open the item page on CodeCanyonSign in with the account you bought with.
  4. Use the Support tabFor questions about your own installation. Use the Comments tab for general questions other buyers may also have.

Get a fast answer

  • Send the VOX version (app/voice/VERSION), the mode (single-user or SaaS), how you installed it (Docker, installer, by hand) and the output of python -m voice check.
  • Paste the exact error and the relevant log lines (data/logs/vox.log is scrubbed of keys).
  • Never send your keys, secrets.env, vox.env or the console token. Nobody from support will ask for them.

02Item support policy

Support follows Envato's item support policy. The support period included with your purchase, and the option to extend it, are shown on the item page.

03Updates and refunds

  • Updates: download new versions from your CodeCanyon Downloads page. Every release is listed in the Changelog with its update steps.
  • Refunds: follow Envato's refund policy.

04Licence

You receive the full source code under the CodeCanyon licence you bought (Regular or Extended). LICENSE in the package holds the copyright notice. Running VOX in SaaS mode, where your customers pay you for access, is a product that end users are charged for: read the licence terms on the item page, which ask for the Extended licence in that case. Third-party packages keep their own licences; see Credits & licences. You are responsible for the calls your install places (Call rules).

05Reporting a security issue

Found a vulnerability, or a code path that skips the disclosure? Report it privately through the item's Support tab with steps to reproduce. Please do not post it in public comments.
